Why I predict that personalized chocolate bars will be a big hit in 2009

There has been a lot of "doom and gloom" about the economy lately. Some people find things to be very depressing right now. There are millions of people who would appreciate a pick-me-up, a reason to smile, a happy ending, or just a reason to feel a little bit better. Who wouldn't want that, even in good economic times?

What part of CHOCOLATE don't you understand? In all my 31 years, I have only met 1 person who didn't like chocolate. (And if you're reading this, you KNOW who you are! Ha, ha, ha!). But every other person that I've known loves chocolate. You give someone a candy bar, it will make their day! Some studies may tell you that chocolate contains all the elements that mimic the emotion of "love" for the female population. A little wierd, but I've heard that.

All I can say is that I love chocolate, and I know it makes me pretty darned happy. I can only imagine that it makes others happy too. Which is at least part of the reason why I got into this business. People also love to be recognized, appreciated, loved, adored, thanked, shown off, and they love to see their name in print!

Which sounds more fun to you? You could get your friend a paper birthday card; maybe even a musical one? It might have a fun message on the front and on the inside, you sign your name for your friend or loved one and ouila, "Happy Birthday?"

But...what if you got something especially printed, just for them? With a personalized chocolate bar, you could have a secret message or an inside joke put on the wrapper that only you and your friend would understand the significance of! You could have THEIR name on it! Guess what, that's not all! It can also double as a birthday present. "What's this? Chocolate? For me? You shouldn't have!"

Right now, you've got to think economically. To get one of those fancy-pants musical cards, expect to cough up about five bucks! It might have a really good joke in it, but nothing especially personal, unless you want to write it in there yourself. We can't afford to go wasting money now can we? Most personalized chocolate bars cost less than two dollars. If you don't believe me, go to http://www.diannaschocolategreetings.com and click on the Pricing tab and see for yourself! You can put whatever you want on them, you can use the front and the back of the candy bar. Heck, you can even change the color and style of the font or put a photo or a graphic on it to make it extra special!

For your business, you can put a your company logo on them for your employees, associates or clients! Pass them out as business cards, what the heck? That will definitely get you remembered in the minds of your potential customers! Even if they just come back to your office to ask for one of your chocolate business cards it's still one definate way to keep in contact.

The bottom line is that personalized chocolate bars are fun, affordable, practical, and versatile. I'd have to say that that's a recipe for success.
